Healing, Empowering, Uplifting

Founder Little India Foundation, Dr. Salim Khan

Dr. Salim Khan is a journalist-turned-humanitarian and former Fortune 500 business leader who dedicated his life to serving society. After successful careers in media and corporate leadership, he left it all behind to start impactful social initiatives such as “One Meal a Day” and India’s first “Food Ambulance”, providing free nutritious meals to the needy.

For eight years he worked selflessly before officially registering Little India Foundation in 2020. Under his visionary leadership, the foundation runs hunger-relief campaigns, healthcare camps, education support, and women empowerment programs across India.

Dr. Khan is a World Record Holder for serving over 2 million meals in 2018 and has been featured in major publications including Forbes, The Times of India, and Hindustan Times. During the COVID-19 crisis, he led large-scale relief efforts, distributing oxygen concentrators, PPE kits, medicines, and food.

His dedication has earned him numerous honors, including an Honorary Doctorate, Humanitarian Excellence Award, Select CityWalk – The City Salutes You, and a nomination for the Padma Shri (2020). Dr. Khan continues to inspire millions with his commitment to compassion, equality, and nation-building.
